Yogalicious… Say What?
It dawned on me over Paneer at Mt Everest on Bloor. There I was, dining with three of the most inspirational female entrepreneurs I know… dining and talking, and scheming, and fantasizing about teaching grandiose yoga classes where ballerinas fluttered around us and that Goyte cover band played on repeat . Yes, the energy was magical. And for you “ideation” folks out there (see StrengthsFinder 2.0 to find out what I am alluding to here), you know that good food paired with some inspiring people is the insta-trigger of more incredible ideas.
So as I savored that paneer, I thought…
“I LOVE FOOD”
and…
“I LOVE YOGA”
and…
beside me sat my dear friend and colleague Candice. She loves making food, and doing yoga. At my class last week I served her delicious vegan “edgebars” and the yogis were elated. I thought it was a one-off, but that night at Mt. Everest, I decided otherwise.
And thus, “Yogalicious” lives on. This time we are going deeper than just yoga & food… we are embracing the union of yoga and the conversations shared over food to build our own little community at Misfit Studio here in Toronto.

For the month of February – Love Month at Misfit – we are teaming up to share with our community the things we love: Yoga, food, movement and community. Every Sunday at noon, join us at Misfit Studio on Euclid and Queen for a 1 hour Vinyasa Flow class followed by vegan treats and conversation with the peoples whose toes you kept tickling during those first few flows (I know you did it).
Who knows, we may just come up with some more beautiful ideas to keep our Queen street community thriving.
See you there
Namaste,
Ash*
